Great sim

Brawn had an excellent sim on Wednesday. He appeared in 8 games, and his lines were .364/.382/.424, legged out a triple, drove in 4 runs, scored 5 runs, walked once and stole a base. The only downside was that he struck out 6 times. Brawn has continued on his end-of-season tear from high school. In his last 10 high school games he batted 19-for-42 (.452) hit 7 home runs, drove in 19 runs and scored 12 runs. From this season combined with the end of his high school career, Brawn has batted 32-for-77 (.416).
"What has sparked your recent tear?" a reporter questioned Brawn.
"Well I'm seeing the ball much better and I've got the Dustin Pedroia mindset: swing as hard as you can every time," Brawn replied. Brawn started in right field, despite being a left fielder, on the Great Lakes Loons, the A affiliate of the Detroit Cobras. In the first sim, the lineups were messed up, resulting in Brawn getting just 4 at bats on the AA team. Brawn was than pushed down to the A team along with friend Brian Walec and fellow draftee Zechs Marquis.
"What happened with the lineups during the last sim?" a reporter asked.
"I'm not sure, as I don't know all that much about how the sims work, but apparently the lineups that were sent in were not seen and thus not taken to account during the sim, which randomized all of the rosters," Brawn answered. Detroit was able to finish off 5-4 despite not having a set lineup. During the second sim, Detroit had their lineups all set and went 5-3, making their record 10-7 for the season. They're 2.5 games behind Bridgeport for the division lead and a game and a half ahead of Providence for second. The Great Lakes Loons A team is 13-4 and with an excellent squad of talent. Brawn plans to continue to start in right field.
